This is Gus (aka Aspen when he was with DDR) who I adopted in June of 2017. He has been there with me through the most traumatic moments of my life and is my best friend. Gus is a great foster brother and is always so patient with the puppies. Here he is on his 4th birthday and then walking in the snowy woods during Christmas!
Recently, we got word that his hip dysplasia (which he was diagnosed with a few months after I adopted him) has caused severe arthritis and it’s becoming very painful for him. Gus is medicated and I’m trying to keep him comfortable for as long as we can before he crosses the rainbow bridge. But I’m going to love hard on him and give him all of the kisses and snuggles while I have him.
