Luna was discovered by Detroit Police and in need of critical care. She sustained an injury to her foot that mummified the limb all together which resulted in our veterinary teams making the decision to amputate her leg.

A word from her foster… “She’s certainly the most affectionate dog I’ve ever met, and she’s not shy about it either! She will definitely let you know when she wants some attention (which is always!). However, something super cute about her is that she’s very respectful of sleep!

She’s also VERY popular! Everyone in my apartment complex knows and loves her. She gets tons of compliments on how beautiful she is, and her energy and joy make everyone she meets so happy.

She also loves to be outside.  I often have to sit in the grass with her for a little while, and she’s been able to feel the breeze and enjoy the weather, then she’ll happily go back inside.

Overall, she’s a girl with a story to tell, but by no means does it stop her. She’s one of the happiest dogs I’ve met, she’s got a ton of character, and she’s sure to bring joy to whoever meets her.”
