$5 Pizza – Cause a Scene for a Good Cause
Metro-Detroit Blaze Restaurants to Sell $5 Pizzas to Benefit Detroit Dog Rescue and Humble Design
May 20th will be a day of giving at four metro-Detroit locations
Royal Oak, MI – In October of 2013, the first Blaze Pizza opened outside of California in Royal Oak, Michigan. Since then Blaze Midwest, Inc. has opened 21 locations across Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. On May 20th, 2018 Blaze Midwest will continue its commitment to the communities that support their restaurants and host a day of giving at their four metro-Detroit Blaze Pizza locations. Guests who bring a special flyer to the Royal Oak (112 S. Main St.), Allen Park (3129 Fairlane Cir.), Novi (26401 Novi Rd.) or Auburn Hills (2031 N. Squirrel Rd.) Blaze Pizzas will be able to purchase any pizza on the menu for just $5. One dollar of every specially priced pizza will be donated to Detroit Dog Rescue and Humble Design, both locally born charities doing much needed work in the community. The $5 Pizza fundraiser will last from 11am – 11pm at all four locations.
A special flyer will be required to make the pizza purchase and can be presented either as a hard copy or via the guest’s mobile device. The flyer can be easily accessed on the social media pages of Blaze Pizza, Detroit Dog Rescue, and Humble Design. However, the easiest way to get a copy of the flyer is to text the word “BLAZE” to 41411. A URL link of the flyer will be sent directly to the mobile device.
“At Blaze Midwest, we host hundreds of dine-to-donate style fundraisers every year. The $5 Pizza Fundraiser will be a first for our organization and one of only a handful to span multiple restaurants in a single market,” said Rodney Walker, Owner and President of Blaze Midwest, Inc. “Giving back to the communities who support us has always been a core value of our organization and partnering with these two charities founded in Detroit is yet another way we can contribute locally.”
