You know those movies where the kid makes a wish and goes to bed then wakes up in an adult body? They’ve got to figure out how to function as a grown up, but inside they’re still just a kid. Domino is a sweet boy who is trying so hard to be a grown up. Nobody ever taught him the dog manners required to live with humans so in his grown-up body, he acts just like a puppy. He loves belly rubs and is excited to meet new people.

Domino is such an upbeat guy even though life hasn’t been easy for him. He came to us while we were doing outreach with a severe case of mange that’s healing well, but loud noises still frighten him. Domino is looking for someone patient to show him the ropes  and help build his confidence.

This happy boy with the sensitive eyes doesn’t understand how he wound up in a shelter or in this grown up dog body. Would you be willing to show him what it means to be a person’s best friend?  With some positive reinforcement training, Domino could be the silly loyal buddy that every dog owner wants. None of the best things in life come easy and helping this eager boy learn what it means to be part of a family might be one of your most rewarding achievements.
