Event Crew Leader

Part-Time Position
Two years of experience in a team leadership role
Must be available weekends and evenings

Based in Warren, MI and rotating locations

Our adoption and fundraising events need a leader. We are eagerly looking for the right “street team” representative. What does that mean? Good question!

Our event leader must be an energetic, enthusiastic, leader who can coordinate volunteers, lead the set up and tear down of our event operation which includes: set up and tear down of tent and event spaces, delegating tasks to volunteers, and welcoming guests to our events and adoption events.

A great crew leader sets the tone for a successful event and helps us retain the best volunteers. All candidates must have a positive attitude that works well in a team setting.

Candidates must have:

  • 2 Years experience in a team leadership role
  • Previous event planning experience a plus
  • Expert communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Available weekends
  • Able to lift 40lbs
  • Extremely organized
  • Clean driving record
  • Microsoft Office/G-Suite experience
  • Knowledge of social media and event promotion
  • Can work in a fast-paced setting
  • Works well in teams
  • Self motivated
