We thought it would be helpful to include all the press and media stories that have featured Detroit Dog Rescue in one place, as it really shows the progress that we have made bringing attention to the plight of the stray dogs in Detroit.

Detroit Dog Rescue was featured THREE times in one week on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, following a flood of responses from people who had seen us shown on the original "Making a Difference" segment which aired 5/10/11. It is the only time in the history of NBC that the network has featured the same group three times in one week. NBC Nightly News is seen by 10 million people nightly. DDR was again featured during the NBC Nightly News year-end wrap up on 12/29/11 with the announcement of a $1.5 million donation made to DDR by an anonymous donor. DDR credits this donation to our incredibly kind and generous "Angel Donor" who belives in us and our mission to open the first no kill shelter in Detroit.
