
Daniel "Hush" Carlisle (Founder)
Rapper, producer, actor, and Detroit Music Award winner 2009, 2010. His music credits include “xXx2: State of the Union”, “Need for Speed: Most Wanted” & “The Contender”. Born and raised in Detroit, he has become an activist in the community dedicated to a better Detroit.
Approached by Monica Martino in 2010 to be a part of her Discovery series “A Dog’s Life”, he began to follow stray dogs in the city. Determined to help these animals, even after the show was shut down, he founded this site with Monica to bring awareness to this ongoing problem.

Emmy-nominated Executive Producer and Creator, she has produced multiple award-winning television series including, “Whale Wars,” “Deadliest Catch,” “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” “Who Do You Think You Are?”, "Oprah's Big Give," and “Storm Chasers.”
In 2010 she began following the stray dogs in Detroit, and created the Discovery Channel series “A Dog’s Life.” When the project was shut down by the city, she and Hush founded this site to try and help the dogs left behind.
