DDR is currently focusing on our community outreach efforts, which means we are in the streets everyday educating the community on the key factors involved with owning a dog and providing tips on how to keep their pets safe and healthy to ultimately reduce the homeless and stray dog population. We also respond regularly to calls from the Detroit PD, Highland Park PD and Hamtramck PD for rescue situations of dogs in need.

While monetary donations help greatly to contribute to our NO KILL shelter fund, your supply donations are equally important to help us continue our mission!

• Dog Houses *HUGE NEED for the cold winter season*

• Dog toys – heavy duty, durable brands for our big chewers

• Gas cards for the field agent DDR van
